Excuse the dopey look, please. What you need to concentrate on is the dress. It's not perfect, far from it, but this dress will always be the first dress that I started to amend, and actually finished.
It was on sale at Monsoon for £30. I know, right! Bargain!! But it was also size 10 (I'm a size 6), and very long. I wanted something more age appropriate for a 19 year old. So I got out the sewing kit and got to work.
Everyone told me I'd never wear it, but it was the dress I wore for New Year's Eve 2007.
