Ladylike?

I was out for brunch with my best friend, and he had a real issue with this outfit.  Because underneath my Topshop see-through mesh top, I'm not wearing another top.  Just a cropped, lace boob tube.  I need your opinion on this because I think this outfit is completely acceptable.  But what do you think?

Playsuit and Play Shoes

Playsuit: Warehouse
Shoes: KG by Kurt Geiger

Ok, I have to be honest.  I haven't had the chance to wear these shoes yet.  But look at them!!  How could I not buy them?  Especially since they were on sale at only £20.

But unfortunately it was only the Warehouse playsuit that got to attend the party.  I absolutely adore it!

West Country Fashion

Trip to Cardiff, followed by Bath and Bristol on the way back home.  Weather's been holding up so floaty, modern tunics are the way to go.  I don't think I'll be losing my leggins any time soon.  Nor the cardigans/jackes.

I've teamed the outfits with a chunky biker bag to add a bit of an edge.  Dressy tunics can sometimes seem very babyish.

Black glitzy cardigan: H&M
Necklaces: gift from boyfriend
Baby Pink tunic: M Butterfly
Black, flat pumps: Dune

Denim jacket: Primark
Silver tunic: M Butterfly
Belt: Portobello Market
Shoes: Shoe Zone (would you believe!)

Bag: Pull and Bear

Sunglasses: H&M

I'm loving M Butterfly at the moment.  I have the annoying problem that I don't want to be wearing what other people wear, and M Butterfly offers some really wacky clothes at very reasonable prices.  It's my one stop shop at the moment and definitely worth checking out for the amazing dresses they have at the moment.

The sunglasses only cost me £2 from H&M but despite the sea green colour, they go with everything!  They certainly completed the outfit.

I found the bag in Pull and Bear, Westfield.  It was hung on the very top shelf and I almost took the entire display down with me as I was trying to get it.  Despite the fact that my keys have dug a whole inside it, and all my stuff keeps getting lost inside the lining, I bloody love this bag!

I knew those wellies would come in handy!

I bought these spotted wellies when I was 17 because I had to head out to Cornwall for a Biology class trip.  Despite the fact that all I needed were a pair of wellies that kept me dry, I decided to go all out, and chose a pair that would stand out.  My teacher kept insisting that I'd scare aware the sea life.

But 5 years on and they're out again.

Sometimes you need to buy something essential today, that you'd still wear in the future.  Had I opted for any old pair I'm sure they'd have been binned the second I got back from Cornwall.
