A Walk With The Surrey Girl

I love Weybridge. 

So I'm always out and about with my best friend.  He, however, hates it when I make him photograph me.

Excuse the dopey look, please.  What you need to concentrate on is the dress.  It's not perfect, far from it, but this dress will always be the first dress that I started to amend, and actually finished.

It was on sale at Monsoon for £30.  I know, right!  Bargain!!  But it was also size 10 (I'm a size 6), and very long.  I wanted something more age appropriate for a 19 year old.  So I got out the sewing kit and got to work. 

Everyone told me I'd never wear it, but it was the dress I wore for New Year's Eve 2007.
